Trans Batam Partners with PT Teknologi Karya Digital Nusa Tbk to Improve Fleet Safety with AI-Based IoT Technology “TAM Fleet”

Jakarta – PT Teknologi Karya Digital Nusa Tbk (PT TKDN Tbk) with stock code TRON, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Batam City Transportation Agency to improve the safety and operational efficiency of the Trans Batam bus fleet.

This collaboration is realized through the implementation of an advanced safety telematics solution based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) named TAM Fleet, installed on 13 new Trans Batam fleet units launched in late April 2025.

The launch event was attended by the Mayor of Batam, Mr. Amsakar Achmad, and the Head of the Batam City Transportation Department (Dishub), Mr. Salim, marking a significant step forward for the Batam City Government in modernizing its public transportation system.

The TAM Fleet solution implemented includes a range of advanced devices, including MDVR systems and devices, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), and Driver State Monitoring (DSM) to detect potential hazards in a fully integrated manner.

The implementation of TAM Fleet will provide significant capabilities for the Batam City Transportation Department to monitor and manage the entire Trans Batam bus fleet in real-time. The system will automatically monitor driver activities, such as phone usage, smoking, and potential drowsiness, and provide immediate alerts to drivers. This is crucial in reducing the risk of accidents caused by driver negligence or unforeseen incidents, thereby ensuring passenger safety.
