Expands Business Reach Through Strategic Acquisition

Jakarta – PT Teknologi Karya Digital Nusa Tbk (TRON stock code: PT TKDN Tbk) announced its success in strengthening its business position through a strategic corporate action, namely the acquisition of a 50% stake in PT Dewata Orbit Raya (DOR), a modern taxi management operator in Indonesia, for Rp16.68 billion.

The acquisition of PT Dewata Orbit Raya is a strategic move by PT TKDN Tbk that holds promising benefits. It will not only expand its business portfolio and strengthen market penetration in the transportation sector but also bring in DOR’s expertise in taxi fleet management, which will complement the portfolio of technology solutions that PT TKDN Tbk already has.

David Santoso, President Director of PT TKDN Tbk, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to its vision, stating, “This acquisition is a significant step for PT TKDN Tbk in achieving our vision of becoming a leading technology company in Indonesia. With the addition of DOR, we are increasingly optimistic about expanding our business reach and providing added value for shareholders.”

At a recent public expose, PT TKDN Tbk not only presented its financial performance but also outlined its strategic plans. The company reported a revenue of IDR 117.69 billion in the third quarter of 2024, a slight decrease from IDR 144.92 billion in the same quarter the previous year. Despite this, PT TKDN Tbk managed to achieve a net profit of IDR 8.02 billion in the third quarter of 2024, down from IDR 17.77 billion in the same quarter the previous year. The company’s total assets as of September 2024 stood at Rp272.33 billion, marking a 10.18% increase from Rp247.16 billion as of December 2023.

By entering the transportation sector, PT TKDN Tbk will be able to reach a wider market and increase its overall market share.
